I fish more than anyone I know. I have tested this bait and know it works, but it is very basic, you need:
- 1 bag of miniature marshmallows
- 1/4 cup of garlic powder
- 1 small bowl
- 1 cup full of water
- a jar with a tight lid ( to keep the bait in )
Take out about 1 cup of the tiny marshmallows and set them aside, fill the bowl with the garlic powder and the small cup with water. Put 5 of the mallows in the water and make sure that they are wet. After they are soaked, put them in the bowl of garlic powder and stir them around so the powder coats the mallows evenly. After coated, put them in a jar and make some more.
Rig them the same way you would power bait (slip sinker baitholder hook) and toss 'em in... This has caught me bass and a few slabs too, but is best for trout. If you want to try something else you can use a packet of cheese from a box of macaroni & cheese or anise extract instead of garlic.
