Here is my recipe for good catfish bait that smells good enough to eat yourself!!! ;-) I've been catfishing for years and always looked for a good recipe. I found one and here it is.

1. Chicken Liver
2. Coarse Garlic powder with parsley
3. Flavor-less jello

Cut the liver into 1 inch squares and place them in a plastic container. Pour some garilc powder on the bottom of the container and put the cut liver on top of it. When you can't see the garlic anymore, pour some more and repeat all the way to the top. Layer it like that, one layer liver then garlic etc. Then boil your gelatin and pour it while hot into the mixture, just enough to cover the liver. Mix this every so often until the jello cools down. Close container and put in fridge to cool for a day or two before you go fishing. I had very good luck with this recipe!!! Soon as you cast the bait in the water you see the cats all over your bait!!!
